Executive Branch is the President and the agencies ofthe Executive branch.
President has five roles Chief executive, chief law maker, Commanderin Chief, Chief Diplomat,

Qualifications for president be 35 yr. old a natural born citizen,get a majority of electoral college votes
        serve upto two four yearterms in office (8 years)
Legislative Branch is the Congress of the United Statesdivided into House of Reps. and Senate
They write the laws for the whole USA. Senate approves treaties andAppointments made by President.
There are 435 House Representatives- 2year terms state population determineshow many per state.
 There are 100 US Senators 2 for each state- 6 year term.

Judicial Branch is the Supreme Court and federal court system.
Supreme court has nine judges appointed for life. All federaljudges (Including Supreme Court) are appointed by the President and approvedby the Senate. They can review a court case to see if laws and governmentactions are in line with the meaning of the Constitution.
The Courts power to over rule government decisions or laws is calledjudicialreview.

Bill of rights is the first ten amendments to Constitution.It spells out the rights people in the United States have.
The Thirteenth Amendment ended Slavery in 1865.
The Fourteenth Amendment is the most important. It preventsstate governments from violating the Bill of rights and guarantees citizenshipto everyone born in the United States. Also every one in America Is entitledto equal protection under the law.

The Nineteenth Amendment Gives Protects Women's right to vote(1919)
