*Eleanor Roosevelt*
Eleanor Roosevelt was born on October 11th,1884, in New York city. Bolth of her parents died in 1892. She enrolled at Allenswood School in England. In 1901 President Mckinley is assinated and Eleanor's uncle assumes the role of President. She leaves school, and gets engaged to Franklin Delano Roosevelt, who was her 5th cousin once removed. Eleanor got married to Franklin on March 17th,1905 in New York City. Their first child, Anna, was born on May 3ed, 1906. Their second child, James, came December 23ed, 1907. In 1909, on March 18th, their third child was born, Franklin, Jr., but died of influenza soon after, but they had a fourth child, Elliot, on September 23ed. In 1912 Eleanor attended her first Democratic Party convention. In 1913, FDR becomes Assistant Secretary of the Navy. In 1914 World War one breaks out. In 1917, the United States enters WW one. One year later, Eleanor learns of the affair between her husband and Lucy Mercer. Eleanor voulnteers at st. elizabeth hospital to visit ww1 veterans. Eleanor travels with franklin on his campain trail for the vice presidency, and she joins the league of woman voters. Soon after franklin becomes paralyzed from polio. in 1932, franklin is elected for president of the u.s., and eleanor becomes a first lady. then in 1936, franklin runs and wins the re-election. on july 17, 1940, eleanor makes a speech at the democratic national convention which helps franklin win a third term in office. but on april 12th, 1945, franklin dies in georgia. In 1962, november 7th, eleanor dies at the age of sevent-eight, of tuberculosis.
